Status: October 22, 2026

1. Controller

The controller for the processing of personal data on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Blackshield Holding GmbH
Seumestraße 9
06686 Lützen, Germany
E-Mail: contact@blackshield.de

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not legally required to do so.

2. In short

This website is a static site. It sets no cookies, runsno analytics and no tracking, embeds no social media widgets, and loads no resources from third-party servers. Fonts are served from our own domain. There is therefore no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted on the infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, and its European affiliates. Cloudflare acts as our processor under Art. 28 GDPR.

When you access this website, your browser necessarily transmits technical data which is processed in server log files:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of the request
  • the page or file requested, and the amount of data transferred
  • HTTP status code
  • referring URL, where transmitted by your browser
  • browser type, version and operating system

This processing is necessary in order to deliver the website to you at all, and to maintain its stability and security — in particular to detect and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of this website. This data is not merged with other data sources, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Because Cloudflare is a company based in the USA, personal data may be transferred to or accessed from the USA. Such transfers are safeguarded by the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission and, where applicable, by Cloudflare's certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

4. No cookies, no tracking

We do not set cookies and do not use any comparable technology such as local storage, pixels or fingerprinting. We use no web analytics service. We do not create user profiles and do not carry out any automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

5. Fonts

The typefaces used on this website (Inter and JetBrains Mono) are hosted on our own domain and delivered together with the page. No connection to Google Fonts or any other external font provider is established, and no data is transmitted to such providers.

6. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process the email address you provide and your consent in order to send you the newsletter. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

The newsletter is sent using Brevo, a service of Brevo GmbH, Köpenicker Str. 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany (part of Brevo SAS, France). Brevo acts as our processor under Art. 28 GDPR. When you submit the form, your email address is transmitted to Brevo and stored on its servers within the European Union.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, either via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by emailing us at contact@blackshield.de. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. Your address is deleted from the distribution list once you unsubscribe.

7. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, the data you provide — your email address and the content of your message — is processed solely in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us, and, where your message is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We erase this data once it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

8. Retention

Server log data is retained only as long as required for the purposes set out above and is then deleted or anonymised. Where statutory retention periods apply, processing is restricted for the duration of those periods and the data is erased afterwards.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access to your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • withdraw any consent you have given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)

To exercise any of these rights, write tocontact@blackshield.de.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is the Saxony-Anhalt State Commissioner for Data Protection (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz Sachsen-Anhalt).

10. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy when changes to the website or to legal requirements make it necessary. The current version always applies and is dated at the top of this page.
